Installation
 

1. Download Audio Recorder from www.macvide.com.

2. Run audiorecorder.dmg.

3. Launch install in appeared window.

4. Follow the instructions.

That’s it! Audio Recorder is installed on your Mac.

Registration
 

1. Launch the application. Click on Registration button located in lower right corner of the main window.
2. In displayed window enter regname and regcode into appropriate fields. Click Ok to end the registration. You can also open this window clicking on Help and selecting Registration from drop-down list.

 
 

Specifying the parameters of an output file
 

Macvide Audio Recorder allows you to customize output audio settings to improve the quality of result file.

To change the format for result audio:

1. Click on Change button.

2. Choose the format you would like your audio to be converted into from drop-down list using steppers.


To adjust settings of audio:

1. Press Change button.

2. In appeared Select parameters window set appropriate sample rate and bitrate indices using steppers.

3. To enable audio recording in stereo mode check Stereo box on.

4. Press Ok button to apply settings or Cancel to abolish changes.

Recording devices connections
 

For creating audio file with the help of Audio Recorder you can use different devices. In Recording Audio Device section select a built-in input or any other microphone you have connected.

Setting an output folder
 

To have the files made by Audio Recorder always within easy reach the program allows you to save recordings on your computer where it is convenient for you.

1. Press on the button located in Output file section to open Select output file window.

2. In appeared window enter the name for result file in Save as field.

3. Select a folder for saving audio record into from the list.

4. Click on Save button.

Audio file recording
 

To start audio record:

1. Click on Record button.

2. In appeared window specify a file name, an output folder and audio format.

3. To launch recording process click on Save.

Any time during recording process is occurring you can interrupt it clicking on Pause button. To finish recording process press on Stop button and wait for export audio progress completion.

Result file playing back
 

After audio recording process finishing Audio Recorder will suggest you to open result file. Click Yes to do this or No to cancel opening.

1. To start audio playing click on Play button.

2. To finish playing back click on Stop.
