Installation

Registration 

 

1. Launch FlashVideo Converter and navigate to the menu above on the screen. Choose Help and then Registration to enter your registration name and key.
    

2. For that purpose copy regname and regcode from email without blanks before and after reginfo. Paste copied info to open window and press Register button. To end this operation, hit OK button.

To avoid the occurrence of the errors while working with FlashVideo Converter, close the applications that run Flash files (especially Internet browsers).

Adjusting the settings

Macvide Flashvideo Conveter allows you to customize video size, codec, mode of conversion in Settings so that you could get high quality video files.

1. To change width and height of video, you can set desirable values into appropriate fields. To keep the original video’s width-to-height ratio tick off the Proportional checkbox.

2. To choose the format you would like your flash video file to be converted into select one from Codec drop-down list.

3. To adjust video and audio settings click on Properties Button.

In displayed window in Video field you can change quality and bitrate of your movie and set frames per second for it.

Check on Enable in Audio field to make adjusting of audio settings available. You can set required value of samples per second and bitrate of audio stream.

Check on Stereo to get video with stereo sound.

4. You can choose the color for background of your video file converted with width-to-height ratio different from the original. Click on Background color icon and in appeared window select the color.

5. Conversion can be started with clicking on Capture button. To begin this process automatically check on Auto start conversion.

6. To stop converting process automatically, check on Auto stop. To set the time after which converting process should be stopped automatically check on after and adjust time frames.



 

Selecting an output folder

You can save your movies converted from Flash into particular folder that is convenient to you.

To set an output folder:

1. Click on Browse button located in Output field.

2. Select a folder from the list.

Now your converted video files are within easy reach, so that you could play them back whenever you wish to.

 

Converting Flash file

 

To choose a file for input click on Source icon and select flash video file which you want to convert. You may pre-watch loaded video file clicking on Play button. To stop pre-watching, click on Stop button.

To start converting process:

1. Click on Capture icon to open up Converting window.

2. In Converting window click on Start button to launch conversion.

3. To finish converting process click on Stop button.

4. If you want to abolish conversion any time during the process, click on Cancel.

After converting process is stopped FlashVideo Converter will offer you to open result video. Click on Yes to play converted file.
