Installation
 

1.Download Macvide ScreenCap from www.macvide.com.

2.Launch screencap.dmg.

3.After that in the appeared window find install icon and run the installing file.

4.Follow the instructions.

That’s it, the installation of Macvide ScreenCap is completed.

Registration

 

1. Launch Macvide ScreenCap and click Registration button to enter your registration name and key.
2. For that purpose copy regname and regcode from email without blanks before and after reginfo.
3. Paste copied info to open window and press Register button.

 

Selecting the file to save captured video or screenshots
 

1.Go to the Applications folder and double-click ScreenCap icon. As soon as Macvide ScreenCap has been launched on your Mac, the Main window opens displaying all necessary buttons for capturing the screen.

2.Click the Save to File button to select the desired folder to save the captured information in. Choose Save to confirm your choice.

Adjusting the size of the input video

1. To select the capturing area, click the Select On screen button and then navigate to the Screen itself in the main ScreenCap window. Crop the size of the screen manually by adjusting the weight and height of the elected area.

Note: To update the screen image you should click the Update button in the main Macvide ScreenCap window.

2. Or you may choose the Settings button in the Video or Flash tab depending on what format you would like to convert your file in. Regulate the width and the height of the output file using the steppers. In case you want to adjust the video size manually, uncheck the Proportional box.

Recording Video file
 

1. Click the Video tab in the main ScreenCap window and select the Recording Audio Device from the drop-down list.

2. Check the Play Audio On Recording checkbox to enable recording of the sound.

3. Select Settings button in the Type section. In the appeared window you may adjust all necessary audio and video settings.

4. Select the type of the video format you would like to save the captured screen in.

5. Click Start to launch recording and capturing process.

Recording Flash Video file
 

1. Click the FLash tab in the main ScreenCap window and select the Recording Audio Device from the drop-down list.

2. Check the Play Audio On Recording checkbox to enable recording of the sound.

3. Select Settings button in the Type section. In the appeared window you may adjust all necessary audio and video settings.

4. Select the type of the flash video format you would like to save the captured screen in.

5. Click Start to launch recording and capturing process.

Taking snapshot series
 

1. Click the Snapshot Series tab in the main ScreenCap window and then select the button from the Output Directory section.

2. In the appeared window you may select the necessary folder from the list and click Choose when finished. Type the name of the folder in the field below.

3. Select the output file type from the drop-down list and set the number of images captured for second using the steppers.

4. Check the Capture mouse arrow checkbox to record any mouse-moverments with ScreenCap. Click Start to take screenshots.
